Proverbs 1:5
Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance. Proverbs 1:5 (ESV)
Jesus is calling me as His disciple to keep learning, particularly from Him. He praised Mary for sitting at His feet, listening to Him teach. He praised Mary for sitting at His feet, listening to Him teach. He gave the two disciples on the road to Emmaus a crash course in Old Testament studies and Christology. If I keep an open mind and a humble heart, I can learn a lot from Jesus. he's telling me, "Learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart" (Matthew 11:29, ESV). With Jesus as my Teacher, I'll grow wiser. I'll know Him better and gain a deeper understanding of His loving character. Who wouldn't want such a teacher? - MARLENE LEGASPI-MUNAR
