Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather; in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. Philippians 2:3-4 (NIV)
Insecurities can lead a person to hold on too tightly to relationships, jobs and possessions. Worrying over a loss robs you of enjoying the moment and can make you selfish and possessive. God intended for us to have a full life, one that is not full of fear and need but one that is filled with His pure love.
Heavenly Father; I come to You with an open heart. Heal my vulnerable places so that I am secure and complete.
