"THE LORD'S PROVISIONS"
Pastor Johnson’s message came from Psalm 52:9, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Galatians 3:11, 1 Peter 1:17-21, Psalm 37:25-28, 2 Corinthians 13:5, James 5:16, 20, and 2 Corinthians 13.. The subject was “The Lord’s Provisions” with the following subtopics:
“REDEEMED FROM THE CURSE”
I will thank you forever, because you have done it, (rescued me and kept me safe). I will wait on your name, for it is good, in the presence of your godly ones.
Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, who is the source of all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things and we through Him.
Now it is clear that no one is justified before God by the Law, for “The righteous shall live by faith. But the Law does not rest on or require faith but say, He who practices them shall live by them. Christ purchased or freedom and redeemed us from the curse of the Law and its condemnation by becoming a curse for us-for it is written, cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might also come to the Gentiles, so that we would all receive the promise of the Holy Spirit through faith.
“THE PRICE THAT WAS PAID”
If address as Father, the One who impartially judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves in fear and with profound respect for Him throughout the time of your stay on earth. For you know that you were not redeemed from your useless way of life inherited from your forefathers with perishable things like silver and gold, but with precious blood, like that of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the priceless blood of Christ. For He was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for your sake and through Him you believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
“THE RESULT OF REDEMPTION”
I have been young and now I am old, Yet I have not seen the righteous abandoned or his descendants pleading for bread. All day long he is gracious and lends, and his descendants are a blessing. Depart from evil and do good; And you will dwell forever. For the Lord delights in justice and does not abandon His saints (faithful ones) They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked will be cut off.
“EVALUATE YOURSELVES”
Test and evaluate yourselves to see whether you are in the faith and living your lives as committed believers. Examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you-unless indeed you fail the test and are rejected as counterfeit?
Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. Let the one know that the one who has turned a sinner from the error of his way will save that one’s soul from death and cover a multitude of sins. Finally, believers, rejoice! Be made complete, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
Read the scriptures and be blessed!
