"THE RESCUE (FROM DEATH)"
Pastor Johnson’s message came from Psalm 116:5-9, Matthew 1:18-23, Matthew 4:23-25, John 3:14-15, 1st Corinthians 15:53-57, John 3:3-16 and Acts 10:37-42. The topic was “The Rescue (From Death)” with the following subtopics:
How kind he is! How good he is! So merciful, this God of ours! The Lord protects the simple and the childlike: I was facing death, and then he saved me. Now I can relax. For the Lord has done this wonderful miracle for me. He has saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. I shall live! Yes, in his presence-here on earth!
These are the facts concerning the birth of Jesus Christ: His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But while she was still a virgin she became pregnant by the Holy Spirit. And she will have a Son, and you shall name him Jesus meaning Savior, for he will save his people from their sins. This will fulfill God’s message through his prophets. The virgin shall conceive a child! She shall give birth to a Son, and he shall be called Emmanuel meaning God is with us.
And Jesus went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people demonstrating and revealing that He was indeed the promised Messiah. So the news about Jesus spread throughout all Syria; and they brought to Jesus all who were sick those suffering with various diseases and pains, those under the power of demons, and epileptics, paralytics; and Jesus healed them. Large crowds followed Jesus from Galilee and the Decapolis and Jerusalem and Judea and the other side of the Jordan.
Jesus came and opened the grave to give you freedom from death. Death is swallowed up in victory. It is vanquished forever. There is life after death. The goats will be on the left side in Hell. The sheep on the right are going to Heaven where the streets are paved with gold and you want have to face death no more. Jesus is the way, truth and light to eternal life.
Those who chose to believe in Jesus, there are no judgment, no rejection, and condemnation; but the one who does not believe is judged and rejected already. You have to show people you are a Christian. A real Christian is truly committed to God. Satan will oppress you. Give in to God and not fleshy worldly things. None of us are here by mistake; but we are here by God’s design. Something was inputted in you by God to be here and hear God’s word. You were chosen by God for His purpose today. He commanded us all to preach to the people. Jesus is the judge for the living and dead. We all will be held accountable and be responsible for what we do in our bodies.
Please read the scriptures and be blessed!
