"FROM ENEMY TO FRIEND"
Pastor Johnson’s message came from John 3:36, Romans 5:1, 9-11, Hebrews 4:12-16; Hebrews 7:25-26, and 1 John 5:11-13. The topic was “From Enemy to Friend” with the following sub topics:
“Accepting Jesus”
Those who believe, trust, and accept Jesus will have everlasting life. If you choose to reject him by disobeying him, you will not see Jesus Christ. The wrath of God hangs over him continually. To get His blessings you have to accept Jesus.
“Justified and Reconciled”
Salvation is found in no other name but the name of Jesus. Once you are justified, you are saved from the guilt. If you don’t accept Jesus, you don’t accept God. Once we accept Jesus Christ and reconciled to Him; we are justified and saved. You must have a sincere heart.
“By the Word of God”
Word of God will energize you and help you to change. It is sharper than any two-edged sword piercing and dividing the soul and spirit. Your flesh (soul) will make you do evil things. The spirit inside you should be a holy spirit that guides you and make you complete. Hold on to God’s unchanging hands. He understands our weaknesses and temptations. He knows what we are going through. We can approach God no matter how we have sin. He is waiting on us. In Jesus, we find mercy and grace. We are all in need at one time or another. We all have fallen. Jesus makes intercession for us. We make mistakes and fail. Jesus talks to the Father for us.
“That You Will Know”
The one that hear the word, relies on Jesus, trust, and be obedient to Jesus has the testimony within you. The one that does not believe in Jesus has made him a liar….because he believes not God gave His Son. Jesus makes you complete; not the earthly things of life. The Holy Spirit makes you complete through Jesus Christ. Believe in the name of Jesus Christ and know that you will have eternal life. You must have a personal relationship with God by (1) Accepting His Son, (2) Accepting God will give you peace no matter what happens, and (3) Opening your heart and mind and let Jesus come in. The Holy Spirit will direct your life to be complete and have a relationship with Jesus.
