NOTES FOR PASTOR JOHNSON'S 4TH SUNDAY MESSAGE 12.24.2017

Posted by: Shirley Smith on Wed, Dec 27, 2017

"HIS COMING PROPHESIED"

Pastor Johnson’s message came from Isaiah 7:10-16, Isaiah 9:6-7, and Matthew 1:18-23. The topic was “His Coming Prophesied” with the following subtopics:

 “God’s Coming”

Ask the Lord for a sign and He will show you. Understand that God’s Word is truth. God would rather have you to ask Him instead of having you to go down the wrong road. Listen carefully. God took on a human body and came unto the earth. He did not want to see us perish. God refused evil and choose good. When you choose good, it is to choose God’s Word over the world.

 “To All Nations”

When we need information and guidance go to the Word of God, the wonderful counselor. He can take care of you. Father is the Prince of Peace. This is a peace only God can give. God will bring true justice and peace to the world.

 “In the Name of Jesus”

In the name of Jesus every knee must bow. You can’t get around Jesus. Mary was found with a baby through the Holy Spirit. Joseph was a just and righteous man who was going to send her away quietly until an angel appeared to him in a dream to let him know the child was conceived by the Holy Spirit. Only God could tell him this; no man. The Lord is salvation and will save us from sin. His son name was Immanuel which means “God With Us”.

Please read the scriptures and be blessed!
