Ecclesiastes 4:12

And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him-a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12 (ESV)

It takes three to have a good marriage, the husband, the wife, and Jesus. Each person must give one hundred percent to Jesus and one hundred percent to each other. The Bible says that a cord of three strands is not easily broken. Couples have to walk with Jesus to have a strong marriage.

Just like Jesus needs to be the first priority in our lives, He also needs to be the first priority in marriage. His guidance knits together our hearts. His sacrificial love is the perfect reminder of how we need to take care of each other. His presence unites us in purpose and surrounds us with peace. One hundred percent. -Katie Minter Jones-
