John 11:25-26

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?" John 11:25-26 (NIV)

Theologian Frederick Buechner wrote, "Even the saddest things can become, once we have made peace with them, a source of wisdom and strength." Grief and sorrow are an inevitable part of life, but with faith and God's Word, you can trudge through the pain to a place of peace and strength.

Loving God, when I am in the midst of pain and loss, may the peace of Your presence surround me.
