"THANKFULNESS"

Pastor Johnson’s message came from Psalm 136:1-4, Luke 14:12-15, and Colossians 3:12-17. The topic was “Thankfulness” with the following sub topics:

“Giving Thanks”

Give thanks unto God for his mercy endure forever. This is how we praise the Lord. Understand that everything you have comes from the Lord and we have grace and mercy forever.

“Showing Thanks”

Whatever you have you need to share it. What you do for someone; do not expect to be paid back. Do it from the goodness of your heart. When you have a feast, do not invite your friends. Invite the poor, the lame, and the blind. These people cannot do for themselves and you do not expect repayments. You will be blessed because they cannot pay you back.

“Being Thankful”

The elect of God are the ones chosen by God to be a light to the world. Characteristics of the elect of God are holy, beloved, tender mercies, kindness, humbleness, meekness, longsuffering, forgiving, and forbear one another. Have a great connection with God. Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus. Give thanks to God. Let Jesus Christ be seen in you!
