"THE DANGER OF APOSTASY"
Pastor Johnson’s message came from 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12; Hebrews 6:1-6, 1 Timothy 4:1-3, and Matthew 10:21-22. The subject was THE DANGER OF APOSTASY with the following subtopics:
“Man of Lawlessness”
Now in regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to meet Him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, not to be quickly unsettled or alarmed either by a spirit or a message or a letter from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one in any way deceive or entrap you, for that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, publicly proclaiming that he himself is God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I was telling you these things? And you know what restrains him now; it is so that he will be revealed at his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only until he who now restrains it is taken out of the way. Then the lawless one will be revealed and the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of His mouth and bring him to an end by the appearance of His coming. The coming of the one is through the activity of Satan, with great power and signs and false wonders, and by unlimited seduction to evil and with all the deception of wickedness for those who are perishing, because they did not welcome the love of the truth so as to be saved. Because of this God will send upon them a misleading influence, so they will believe the lie, in order that all may be judged and condemned who did not believe the truth, but instead took pleasure in unrighteousness. Which Do U Choose the Lie or the Truth????
“The Peril of Falling Away”
Therefore let us get past the elementary stage in the teachings about the Christ, advancing on to maturity and perfection and spiritual completeness, without laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of teaching about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment. And we will do this, if God permits. For those who have once been enlightened and who have tasted and consciously experienced the heavenly gift and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted and consciously experienced the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away (Apostasy) it is impossible to bring them back again to repentance, since they again nail the Son of God on the cross, and are holding Him up again to public disgrace. Are U aware of the danger???

But the Holy Spirit explicitly and unmistakably declares that in later times some will turn away from the faith, paying attention instead to deceitful and seductive spirits and doctrines of demons, by the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared as with a brandling iron. Brother will betray brother to death, and the father his child; and children will rise up and rebel against their parents and cause them to be put death. And you will be hated by everyone because of My name, but it is the one who has patiently persevered and endured to the end who will be saved. Will U be SAVED???
