"GAINING UNDERSTANDING OF WHY YOU COME TO CHURCH"
Pastor Johnson’s message came from 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:12-23, Mark 13:33-37, 2 Peter 3:10, 14 and Revelation 3:3. The subject was GAINING UNDERSTANDING OF WHY YOU COME TO CHURCH with the following subtopics:
“Those Who Died in Christ”
Now we do not want you to be uninformed, believers, about those who are asleep in death, so that you will not grieve as the others do who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For we say this to you by the Lord’[s word, that we who are still alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will in no way precede those believers who have fallen asleep in death. For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will simultaneously be caught up together with them the resurrected ones in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord! Will U be in the Resurrected Life!!!
“The Order of Resurrection”
Now if Christ is preached as raised from the dead, how is it that some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, and your faith is also vain. We are even discovered to be false witnesses God, because we testified concerning Him that he raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised, either; and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless and powerless; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If we who are in Christ have hoped only in this life, then we are of all people most miserable and to be pitied. But now Christ has in fact been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by a man that death came into the world, it is also by a Man that the resurrection of the dead has come. For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, ten those who are Christ’s at His coming. Those Who Believe Will Be Resurrected???
“Don’t Fall into Apostasy”
Be on guard and stay constantly alert and pray; for you do not know when the appointed time will come. Therefore, be continually on the alert for you do not know when the master of the house is coming, whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning. Stay alert, in case he should come suddenly and unexpectedly and find you asleep and unprepared. What I say to you I say to everyone, Be on the alert. Be Prepared When Your Tine Comes!!!
“A New Heaven and Earth”
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will vanish with a roar, and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and the works that are on it will be burned up. So, beloved, since you are looking forward to these things, be diligent and make every effort to be found by Him spotless and blameless, in peace. What Kind of life are U Living???
“Be Aware and Heed the Warning”
So remember and take to heart the lessons you have received and heard. Keep and obey them, and repent. So then, if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you. Are U Spiritually ASLEEP???
