Pastor Johnson’s message came from Psalm 91:1-10, Psalm 37: 22-25, 2 Corinthians 1:21-22, Matthew 13:40-43, 2 Thessalonians 1:4-8, and 1 Peter 3:8-12. The subject was SECURE IN THE LORD ARE THOSE WHO SEEK HIM with the following subtopics:
“Divine Protection”
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Almighty will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust. For He will save you from the trap of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you and completely protect you with His opinions, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and a wall. You will not be afraid of the terror of night nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noon. A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but danger will not come near you. You will only look on with your eyes and witness the repayment of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord, my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent. Who Protects U????
“The Delight of GOD”
For those blessed by God will inherit the land, But those cursed by Him will be cut off. The steps of a man are directed and established by the Lord, and He delights in his way. When he falls, he will not be hurled down, because the Lord is the One who holds his hand and sustains him. I have been young and now ZI am old, Yet I have not seen the righteous abandoned or his descendants pleading for bread. Are U in right standing???
“The Promise of GOD”
Now it is God, who establishes and confirms us with you in Christ, and who has anointed us; it is He who has also put His seal on us and has given us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge. Have U received the Promise???
“The Separation”
So just as the weeds are gathered up and burned in the fire, so will it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend and all who practice evil, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and grinding of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He, who has ears, let him hear and heed my words. Are U Listening???
“Being Made Worthy”
Therefore, we speak of you with pride among the churches of God for your steadfastness and your firm faith in the midst of all the persecution and distress which you endure. This is a positive proof of the righteous judgment of God, so that you will be considered worthy of His kingdom, for which indeed you are suffering. For after all it is only just for God to repay with distress those who distress you and give relief to you who are so distressed and to us as well when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in a flame of fire dealing out vengeance to those who do not know God and to those who ignore and refuse to obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. Are U Responding to God???
“As One”
Finally, all of you be like-minded, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and compassionate toward each other as members of one household and humble in spirit; and never return evil for evil or insult for insult, but on the contrary, give a blessing; for you have been called for this very purpose, that you might inherit a blessing. The one, who wants to enjoy life and see good days, Must keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from speaking guile. He must turn away from wickedness and do what is right. He must search for peace and pursue it eagerly. For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who practice evil. Which Way have U Turned???
