"ARE YOU A VESSEL GOD CAN USE?"
Pastor Johnson’s sermon came from Isaiah 66:20-21, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, 2 Timothy 2:19-22, 1 Timothy 1:8-11, and Galatians 5:22-24. The topic was “ARE YOU A VESSEL GOD CAN USE?” with the following subtopics:
“A Clean Vessel”
You have to be a clean vessel to be a light upon the Lord. You have to be a vessel God can use. Once you become a vessel that God can use; you become sanctified and set apart.
“The Holy Spirit within You”
Did you know that when you became a Christian, you invited the Holy Spirit to live within you? God expects righteousness from you. We were brought with a price. God does not take this lightly. You are to accept the Holy Spirit and love everybody. You have to glorify God in your body and spirit by the way you live. The spirit of love should abide in you.
“Which Are You: Gold/Silver or Wood/Clay”
The Lord knows who are his. You can’t fool God. Let everyone in Christ depart from sin. Are you wood or clay, silver or gold?
VESSEL 1
Those that are ungodly, sinners, murderers, whoremongers, homosexuals, lesbians, and liars are all part of this vessel.
VESSEL 2
We have to love everybody and have all the fruit of spirit which includes love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance (self-control). They that are Christ- like have crucified the flesh; but those that are of the world are not in Christ. Walk in the spirit. The Holy Spirit should abide in you.
Please read the scriptures and be blessed!
