NOTES FROM PASTOR JOHNSON'S 4TH SUNDAY MESSAGE 1.22.2017

"FOOD FOR HIS STOREHOUSE"

Pastor Johnson’s sermon came from Ezekiel 34:18-22, John 21:14-19, Luke 14:16-24, and Malachi 3:8-12.  The topic was “Food for His Storehouse” with the following subtopics:

 “The Problem”

It is everyone responsibility to put food in the storehouse. Make sure you are giving the true word of God. The word of God should be a light to lead you into righteousness. Some churches will trample down (give you what you want to hear and make you feel good) rather than tell you what the Lord said. Our job is to be a light in our community. The problem is not getting the word out to others.

“The Solution”

Ask yourself do you love Jesus? Jesus said to feed His sheep. Jesus is talking about spiritual food. He does not want anybody to perish.  If you are in church and understand the words of God, it is your responsibility to take the Word out.

  “The Action”

The feast (Holy Word) is set before you. All you have to do is eat. As you study the word of God, the spirit of God will be in you. Our responsibility as a Christian is to get the word out. We should have food in our store house to take the word out.  Bring all your tithes and offerings so God’s storehouse can be full.  Be a Christian in the church and in your heart.

“The Promise”

Will a man rob God? Yes, a man robbed God of tithes and offerings.  We are rejecting God and God is rejecting us. If we bring the tithes and offering to the storehouse, God will open the windows of heaven and pour out a great blessing that you won’t have room enough to take it in. Take his word out and give your tithes and offerings. You will be blessed. Let Jesus in and Let Jesus guide your life.

Please read the scriptures and be blessed!
