"TRAILS OF LIFE"

Pastor Johnson's sermon came from Isaiah 61:1-3, Romans 5:3-9, 2 Corinthians 1:3-11, and 1 Peter 1:7-9. The topic was "Trails of Life" with the following subtopics:

"Responsibility to the Suffering"

As a Christians, we all have a responsibility to help others that suffer. We need to let them know God is there for them. We have a responsibility to take the word out to them. God will deal with your enemies. We are to bring the beauty of ashes and joy to those who suffer. Get the joy out of the mourning. Put all your trails and tribulations and put it into Jesus hand. We have to be a tree of righteousness to be able to let God use you and convey his words.

"Build Your Faith"

You have to be strong and build your faith in order to help the sufferers. We need to glory in our tribulation. We need to thank God because tribulations bring patience. Patience develops strength and hope. You cannot make it through unless you have Jesus with you. Jesus died for us so we can gain patience, experience, and hope.

"To Comfort Others"

Our experiences are to comfort others when they are in their burdens and heaviness in life. Pass on to others the same comfort Jesus has given to you. If you don't suffer and go through something, you will not have a testimony. In this life, we will all suffer so that we can tell others how Jesus brought us through. It is all about comforting others.

"Until Jesus Returns"

The trail of your faith tried by faith is worth the wait. On the other side, the one you love may be waiting on you when Jesus returns.

In referenced to James 1:2-4, Count it all joy....the tribulations you are going through. Stand and wait on the Lord. He knows what you want and what you need. Have patience and the willingness to wait on the Lord. Jesus is all you need!!

Please read the scriptures and be blessed!
