PASTOR JOHNSON'S 4TH SUNDAY MESSAGE(4/26/2015)

"UNDER THE BLOOD"

Pastor Johnson’s sermon came from Exodus 24:3-8, 1 Corinthians 11:23-28, 1 John3:4-11 and Revelation 7:9-17. The topic was “Under the Blood” with the following subtopics:

 “God’s Direction”

This is a foreshadowing of what God did for us. This tells about animal blood (oxen) in the Old Testament as sacrifice. Jesus sacrifices human blood. We are under the church covenant. Everything in the covenant is found in the Holy Bible. When you break the covenant; you are breaking the agreement with God.

“Should Be Remembered”

The Lord broke the bread for you as a symbol of his broken body for us. His body was broken in our stead. The only way we could live is through Jesus Christ. To be under the blood, is to be under the will of God. You should live according to God’s words. As often as you drink and eat communion you should remember Him and what He did for us. When you recognize you have done wrong, remember the covenant and do what is right. Do not avoid taking communion because you have done wrong the night before. Recognize your wrong doing and examine yourself. If you are not doing right, get it right.

 “As Children of God”

Sin is the transgression of the law. God came to take away our sins.  If you are still sinning, Satan is your Father. God’s children walk in righteously because they are under the blood and have been washed by the blood. Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin. He cannot sin because he is born of God.

“We ALL Agree”

We all have to agree on the covenant. We have to recognize the power and glory of God. Recognize the elders. Life is not easy. Hold on to God unchanging hands no matter what happens. Stay clean under the blood of Jesus. Wash that spirit clean that is inside of you. Wash all those sins away. Once you get home with Jesus, you don’t have to worry about or face trials and tribulations anymore. Under the blood means you are protected, God is your rock to lean on, and He is your provider. Make sure you have been washed in the blood of Jesus.

Please read the scriptures and be blessed!
