Pastor 1st Sunday Message (July 6, 2014)

"Unshakeable Faith"

Pastor Johnson’s sermon came from Romans 8: 18-25, Hebrews 10:22-29, and Hebrews 11:1-6. The topic was “Unshakeable Faith” with the following subtopics:

 “Deliverance Ahead”

No matter what you have to go through because you are a Christian, you may suffer now; but wait on the Lord. Whatever you go through is nothing compare to what the Lord has for you in the next life. Wait on the Lord. The manifestation is when God resurrect His children from the dead. By one man (Adam) death came in and by another man (Jesus) eternal life came in. God will deliver you from bondage of corruption if you have accepted Him as your Savior. We will be delivered from pain. The body should be the temple of God. We then will become the first fruits of the Spirit. No matter what, wait patiently on the Lord for the gift of eternal life.

“With a Life of Faith”

Draw close to the Lord with a true heart. A true heart has been cleansed from evil thoughts. Hold on to unshakable faith. You cannot fool God. Come to church and help others along the way. Don’t tear anyone down but lift them up. After you have been told the truth, and you do not accept and change your ways; it is your fault. When you don’t believe you have trodden God’s words under your feet. We have not done anything for God’s grace but He forgave us despite of what we have done. Don’t disgrace this by being disobedient.

 “Pleasing to God”

Hope is eternal life. Have faith for what is unseen. In order to not to see death; we have to please God. Death is Hell and out of the presence of the Lord. You cannot please man; you have to please God. You must have faith, hope, and patience to please God. You must believe God exist.  You must also believe that God is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.

“Know where you are going when you leave this life!”

Please read the scriptures and be blessed!
